REQUIREMENTS: Life Rank and Scoutmaster Approval

CHOSEN BY: Appointed by Senior Patrol Leader

TERM: One Year

REPORTS TO: SPL, Program ASM, and Scoutmaster

DUTIES:

• Assists SPL

• Takes place of SPL in his absence.

• Approves Patrol Duty Rosters and Menus.

• Responsible for games at Troop Meetings.

• Makes sure that Campout Programs are well planned, organized, and executed.

• Informs Patrol Leaders of and coordinates PLC and Scoutmaster’s eating arrangements with Patrols.

• Plans Troop Outings.

• Other tasks as assigned by SPL.

• Sets a Good Example

• Attends at least 75% of Troop activities.

• Must be proficient in Basic Scouting Skills.

• Sign off on Rank advancement for Tenderfoot through First Class in accordance with Troop’s Advancement Guidelines.

• Campout Responsibilities: Makes sure Program materials for Campouts and Outings are taken to event location. Runs Troop Program on Campouts and Outings.
