TROOP QUARTERMASTER JOB DESCRIPTION

REQUIREMENTS: First Class Rank or lower rank if no one in Patrol is at least First Class

CHOSEN BY: Appointed by SPL and ASPL - Personnel

TERM: One Year

REPORTS TO: ASPL – Personnel

DUTIES:

• Responsible for all Troop Equipment.

• Keep an accurate inventory of all Troop and Patrol Equipment.

• Separate and tag inoperable Equipment and notify Troop Committee of repairs needed.

• Make suggestions to Troop Committee as to new Equipment which may be purchased for the Troop.

• Issue, check-in, and keep records on Troop Equipment which is used on Troop and Patrol activities.

• Inspect Tents and other Troop Equipment on campouts for damage and cleanliness.

• Work with Patrol Quartermasters on their Patrol Equipment needs.

• Set a Good Example.

• Attends at least 75% of Troop and Patrol meetings and activities.
